Your Account

Manage your profile, bookings, and preferences in Bookwell.

A customer account makes booking faster and lets you manage your appointments. This guide covers account features and settings.

Creating an Account

Sign Up

Click Create Account

On the booking page, click Create Account or Sign Up.

Enter Your Information

Provide:

  • Email address
  • Password
  • Name
  • Phone number (optional)

Verify Email

Check your email and click the verification link.

Complete Profile

Add any additional information and preferences.

Account Benefits

With an account, you can:

  • Book faster with saved information
  • View all your appointments
  • Access booking history
  • Save payment methods
  • Set preferences
  • Manage notifications

Logging In

Standard Login

  1. Click Log In
  2. Enter email and password
  3. Access your account

Forgot Password

If you forget your password:

  1. Click Forgot Password
  2. Enter your email
  3. Check for reset link
  4. Create new password

Social Login

Some businesses offer:

  • Google sign-in
  • Apple sign-in
  • Facebook sign-in

Click the appropriate button to use these options.

Your Profile

Viewing Your Profile

Access your profile:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click your name or Account
  3. View your profile page

Updating Information

Edit your profile to change:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Profile photo

Click Edit or the pencil icon, make changes, and save.

Changing Password

To update your password:

  1. Go to Account > Security
  2. Enter current password
  3. Enter new password
  4. Confirm new password
  5. Save

Managing Bookings

Upcoming Appointments

View your upcoming appointments:

  1. Go to My Appointments or Bookings
  2. See all scheduled appointments
  3. Click any for details

Appointment Actions

From your appointments, you can:

  • View details
  • Reschedule
  • Cancel
  • Add to calendar
  • Get directions

Booking History

View past appointments:

  1. Go to Booking History or Past Appointments
  2. See all previous visits
  3. View details and receipts

Payment Methods

Saving Cards

Save payment methods for faster checkout:

  1. Go to Account > Payment Methods
  2. Click Add Card
  3. Enter card details
  4. Save

Card information is stored securely by our payment processor, not on our servers.

Managing Saved Cards

From Payment Methods:

  • Set a default card
  • Remove cards
  • Add new cards

Receipts

Access receipts for past bookings:

  1. Go to Booking History
  2. Click on an appointment
  3. Select View Receipt
  4. Download or print

Preferences

Booking Preferences

Set your preferences:

  • Preferred therapist
  • Preferred time of day
  • Communication preferences
  • Special requirements

These help with personalized service.

Notification Settings

Control notifications:

Go to Account > Notifications to adjust.

Gift Cards

Viewing Gift Card Balance

If you have gift cards:

  1. Go to Account > Gift Cards
  2. See active cards and balances
  3. View transaction history

Adding a Gift Card

To add a gift card you received:

  1. Go to Gift Cards
  2. Click Add Gift Card
  3. Enter the code
  4. Card is added to your account

Using Gift Cards

Gift cards are applied at checkout:

  1. Select your service and time
  2. At payment, gift card balance appears
  3. Apply to your booking
  4. Pay any remaining balance

Loyalty and Rewards

Loyalty Programs

If the business offers loyalty rewards:

  • View your points/status
  • See available rewards
  • Redeem rewards at checkout

Referral Programs

Share the love:

  • Find your referral code/link
  • Share with friends
  • Earn rewards when they book

Privacy Settings

Data Preferences

Control your data:

  • Marketing communications
  • Data sharing preferences
  • Account visibility

Downloading Your Data

Request your data:

  1. Go to Account > Privacy
  2. Click Download My Data
  3. Receive a file with your information

Deleting Your Account

To delete your account:

  1. Go to Account > Privacy
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Confirm deletion

Account deletion is permanent. Your booking history will be removed.

Account Security

Best Practices

Keep your account secure:

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Don't share your login
  • Log out on shared devices
  • Review account activity

Suspicious Activity

If you notice unusual activity:

  1. Change your password immediately
  2. Review recent bookings
  3. Check saved payment methods
  4. Contact the business if needed

If available, the mobile app offers:

Can't Log In
